CITY FICTION PUBLISHING GROWS

Leighton Buzzard based publishing and media company City Fiction is very much still in its infancy, a mere 2 years old, but is continuing to grow and recently has seen some exciting developments within the company.

Director and founder Tony Drury, Corporate Financier/author/film producer/entrepreneur, has recently appointed a Sales Director, Media Director and Chairman to help grow the company further.

Since May 2012, Tony, a Romantic Thriller Writer, has published ‘Megan’s Game’ – his first fictional novel and has subsequently written ‘The Deal’, ‘Cholesterol’, ‘A Flash Of Lightning’. ‘The Lady Who Turned’ is due to be published in July this year. Jane Foster, Media Director will also be the producer for ‘A Flash of Lightning’: the film.

The City Fiction team are thrilled that Michael MacDougall has been appointed as Chairman. In 1990 Michael opened the first stockbroking office in Milton Keynes. In 1998 this became associated with Charles Stanley Limited. He is beginning a new chapter in his entrepreneurial career having built up a highly profitable business.

He is a passionate reader of fact and fiction and for three years was co-proprietor of Crawford’s Directory of City Connections. He is a serial investor in small businesses and in 2012/13 was part of a group that reported to the Treasury on the financing of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (‘SMEs’). He is the financial backer of ‘Megan’s Game’: the film.

He was the first outside investor in City Fiction Limited.
